【摘要】:1.1Thisclassificationsystemcoversbothdevelopingpropertydesignationsandspecificationsforthermoplasticcompositionsconsistingofvinylidenefluoride(VDF)polymersmodifiedwithotherfluoromonomersandproperty-enhancingadditives.Theotherfluoromonomersincludeoneormoreofthefollowing:hexafluoropropylene(HFP),tetrafluoroethylene(TFE),andchlorotrifluoroethylene(CTFE).Theadditivesarethosethatimproveitsflameresistance,processing,orphysicalproperties.However,theseadditivesarenotnormallyconsideredtobereinforcing.Thisclassificationsystemcoversthermoplasticcompositionssuppliedinpelletorpowderforms.1.2Adesignationorspecificationappliesonlytothevirginpolymerspreparedfromvinylidenefluoride(>50weight%)withoneormoreofthefollowingcomonomers:hexafluoropropylene,tetrafluoroethylene,andchlorotrifluoroethylene.Somepolymerscontainadditivestoenhancecertainproperties.1.3ThissystemconstitutesalinecalloutasameansofdesignatingandspecifyingpropertiesofVDF-basedcopolymers.Atleastfourofthedesignatedpropertiesareusedtodefineapolymer''sspecification.Specificationcriteriafrominternationaldocumentscanbeusediftheircriteriamatchdesignationpropertiescurrentlyusedbythisclassificationsystem.Thisclassificationsystemisnotintendedfortheselectionofmaterials.1.4Themanufacturerofthevirginresinshallestablishthedesignationofaresinbasedonthepropertyvaluecriteriainthisclassificationsystem.1.5Theminimumspecificationpropertiesareestablishedbythisclassificationsystem.Additionalspecificationproperties,basedonthedesignationpropertiescited,canbeestablishedbytheresinsupplierandcustomer.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.1.7ThepropertytestsareintendedtoprovideinformationforspecificationsofmodifiedVDF-copolymercompositions.Itisnotthepurposeofthisclassificationsystemtoprovideengineeringdatafordesignpurposes.Note1AlthoughthevalueslistedinTable1,Table2,Table3,Table4,Table5arenecessarytoincludetherangeofpropertiesavailableinexistingmaterials,theyarenottobeinterpretedasimplyingthateverypossiblecombinationofthepropertiesexistsorcanbeobtained.Itispossibleforauserordesigner,using,tocalloutpropertyrelationshipsthatarephysicallyimpossibletooccurinacopolymermadeusingcurrenttechnology.Note2Manyofthesepolymersexhibitpolymorphism.Thetypeandextentofcrystallinestructurewillvarywiththethermomechanicalhistoryofthesample.Propertiesvarybasedonthetechniqueusedtopreparethespecimens.1.8Testmethodsusedinthisclassificationsystemcanresultintheincidentalproductionofhazardousmaterials.ModifiedVDFpolymerfluoroplasticsmeltbetween90and182176;C(194and359176;F)andarethermallystableuptoabout350%176;C(662176;F),orsomewhathigher,dependingonthecomposition.(Evolutionofcorrosive,colorless,andtoxichydrogenfluoridecanoccurundercertainconditions.)Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SeeWarninginandSectionforspecifichazardsstatements.Note3Many,butnotallofthecodesandspecificationsfoundinthisclassificationsystemarealsoinISO12086-1andISO12086-2.
