【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesgeneralrequirementsfortheconstruction,testingandperformanceofelectricallyoperatedgasdetectionapparatus,designedforcontinuoususeindomesticpremises,togiveawarningalarmintheeventofahazardousaccumulationofcarbonmonoxide(CO).Suchapparatusisaimedatenablingaroomoccupanttoreactbeforebeingexposedtosignificantrisk,butwithoutcreatingfalsealarms(seeannexA).NOTE1.Conformitytothisstandarddoesnotimplythattheapparatusissuitablefornon-domesticinstallations.NOTE2.ApparatusconformingtothisstandardmaynotprotectpeoplewhoareatspecialriskfromCOexposure,byreasonofageormedicalconditionforexample.
